The Commodore Apartments, built in 1922, is a four-story Colonial Revival style, Craftsman-influenced brick building in the Chestnut Hill Historic District. The building is significant for its fireproof construction, integrity of original architectural features on most of the exterior and the interior, and for its part in the real estate boom and investment times in early 1920s Asheville.
The existing apartments were renovated and modernized to include twenty-four One and Two Bedroom apartments, ample tenant storage, and a shared roof deck with fantastic views of the Asheville skyline.
Completed Spring of 2024.
