The Village of Cheshire in Black Mountain is a traditional neighborhood development designed by Duany Plater-Zyberk and Company. Rowhouse came in to design the two townhome buildings that face each other across a tree lined street. Front porches create an inviting presence, while parking and garage access is in the back off of an alley.

The buildings are in the vernacular of the rustic buildings found in the surrounding historic mountain communities.
