ADAPTIVE RE-USE / AFFORDABLE HOUSING

The Asheboro Mill Lofts project consists of two buildings originally built as a furniture factory in 1927. The renovation contains 68 affordable apartments, consisting of one, two and three bedrooms for families. The project is within walking distance of downtown shops and schools as part of an ongoing effort to revitalize downtown Asheboro.

The construction cost is approximately $7,800,000. The project was completed in the winter of 2013.
