King Daddy’s Chicken + Waffles (Mardis Building)

John and Julie Stehling tasked Rowhouse with designing King Daddy’s Chicken and Waffles was for the corner storefront space of the historic Mardis Building in West Asheville. The design melds new with old, showcasing the original tin ceiling as well as incorporating new wood and glass elements. The interior space opens to an exterior patio allowing for dining while people watching in the funky West Asheville neighborhood.
